About Me My name is Danny and I live in the hills of East Tennessee. I have been sculpting as a hobby for several years. In 2002 I decided to quit my real job and see what life as an artist was like. Now I am a full-time artist doing what I love to do...make things. I started carving as a child and later in life I was fortunate to meet some very good teachers. I started making faces in driftwood, then decided I wanted to do busts. From there I moved on to clay. I believe this is what I like the most. Along the way I tinkered with some metal projects making wall hangings, and knives, and whatever else my wife decided she wanted. I still do some woodworking, but those projects are few. I also work in wax, and pour bronze and aluminum when I need to. I would like to thank the area museums in East Tennessee for sponsoring solo exhibits of my work. The Museum Center at Five Points in Cleveland, TN www.museumcenter.org The Living Heritage Museum in Athens, TN. www.livingheritagemuseum.com I would also like to thank the James H. Quillen College of Medicine for allowing me to make several pieces for their fine school. This is a website to show some of my work over the years. And to show some of my latest endeavors as well. I don't sell anything from this site. I work on a commission basis, one piece at a time. I hope you enjoy the show.
